As Head of AI Research at Straiker, I’ve seen firsthand how rapidly AI is reshaping the security landscape. Each advancement of AI—LLMs, RAG pipelines, autonomous agents—has introduced new unknown unknowns often in ways that break the rules we’ve relied on for decades. That’s why we’re proud to be the partnering with as the pioneering sponsor of the OWASP AI Exchange, an open community forging the new foundations of AI security.

Why OWASP AI Exchange and Straiker are partnering together

For years, cybersecurity replied on determinism: same input, same output. That predictability powered static code analysis, dynamic testing, and enforceable policies. But modern AI systems are inherently non-deterministic. They hallucinate. They reason. They evolve. The result? A new attack surface, and with that, a new security mindset is now required.

OWASP AI Exchange is helping define that mindset. Just as OWASP transformed web security in the early 2000s, this initiative is building the connective tissue between real-world AI attack patterns, security frameworks, and future-focused defenses.

Straiker is the pioneering sponsor of OWASP AI Exchange where we will be contributing with red-team insights, operational learnings, and tooling to help harden strategies designed for LLM-native and multi-agent environments. Our Straiker AI Research (STAR) team recently shared guidance on how prompt injection, agent memory abuse, and cross-tool contamination threaten enterprise environments—and what to do about it.

If you haven’t explored their work, visit OWASP AI Exchange and get involved. The future of secure, trustworthy, and responsible AI won’t come from closed systems. It will come from open collaboration—researchers, practitioners, and defenders building together.

This is just the beginning. Together, we're building a foundation for the next OWASP Top 10—one built for AI-native systems and autonomous agents that is grounded in research, informed by practice.
